All our delicious menus are available wherever you choose to sit at Bowland Forest Farm – in the sun on the Front Terrace, relaxing in Borders Lounge & Bar, a more formal setting in Borders Restaurant or outside in the paved courtyard – each separate area provides its own unique dining experience.
LOUNGE AND BAR
Relax in the Lounge Bar in our comfortable wingback chairs or Chesterfield settees and marvel at the decorative fabric we’ve chosen for our Camden Tub Chairs.
Whilst sitting in comfort treat yourself to a pint of Timothy Taylors famous landlord ale, Wainwrights Gold, an extra cold Guiness or a good old pint of Peroni and study our giant, hand painted wall map of our beautiful local area or gaze across to our busy Garden Centre. For the gin connoisseurs amongst you, we are delighted with our ginormous range all served alongside a favoured selection of spirits.
If the sun is not quite “over the yardarm” why not order a revitalising cup of Yorkshire tea, a fruit tea or one of our speciality coffees that can be served with a tempting slice of chocolate cake or maybe an enticing serving of carrot cake.
Up early or in need of sustenance after a walk or bicycle ride, our Border’s Large Breakfast, available from 9am to 11.30am, will soon get you back out on the trail.
Our extensive lunchtime menu should see you through the afternoon, from nibbles and traditional sandwiches served on locally baked Artisan bread together with a dressed side salad and Lancashire Crisps, add a bowl of soup or a portion of chips to warm you up on those chilly Winter days. Our light lunch menu includes all your favourites: Fish and Chips, Barkers Sausage and Mash or a good old Burger, all available daily between noon and 4.00pm,
The A La Carte menu offers a variety of courses that you may enjoy in our more relaxed atmosphere and if the sun is shining, do not miss out on our extensive front terrace, just perfect for houmous, caramelized onion chutney or a hearty rib eye steak.
We also offer smaller portions on many of our main courses (just ask), suitable for those wanting a smaller meal or dishes that may be more familiar for Children, put together from some of the same quality ingredients from our menus.
